You can return any item purchased on uatac.shop within 30 calendar days of receiving it.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for return, items must:

Only products purchased directly from the UATAC online store are eligible.

UATAC Gen 5.7 Black Combat Pants with Knee Pads is a universal combat model in black, improved by five iterations of updates based on real-world experience. Black is a color that is equally in demand in special forces units, law enforcement agencies, security companies and the private tactical sector. Supplied as a complete set: pants, knee pads, belt and dry bag - everything you need right out of the box.

Fabric and materials
Black color mercilessly reveals any scuffs, burnouts and seam wear - where camouflage masks the first signs of aging, on black everything is visible immediately. Therefore, the quality of the fabric for black tactical pants is a matter not only of durability, but also of appearance. The Gen 5.7 Black base is the same premium 65% cotton, 35% polyester Ripstop fabric as the entire 5.7 line. Reinforced weave with reinforced threads blocks the spread of the tear even in the event of a puncture or cut. All seams are made with reinforced German thread, designed for repeated mechanical loads. The black color retains its depth and saturation throughout the entire service life if you follow the care recommendations.

Knee pads - protection that stays in place
Removable knee pads in most tactical pants shift during active movement, slide when running and require constant adjustment - as a result, they are often simply removed. In the Gen 5.7, the new generation knee pads have a three-stage fixation: height adjustment through the front pocket precisely positions the knee pad against the kneecap to suit your height; VELCRO® fastening keeps it in place while standing, squatting or lying down; hook-and-loop fastener prevents vertical movement during dynamic movements. The knee area is protected externally by CORDURA® 500d Brookwood® USA fabric - the world standard for abrasion resistance when in contact with concrete, gravel and hard surfaces.

Built for long-term use
The seat area is the first to wear out in any pair of pants - especially during long shifts, working in machinery or in static positions. In the Gen 5.7, this area is made of a double layer of Ripstop main fabric, which significantly increases the resource in the place of the most intense wear. Two ventilation zones in the groin area and lower part of the legs provide thermoregulation. Increased elastic inserts with a stretch factor of 1.5 move with the body when squatting, running and overcoming obstacles.

11 pockets — access to equipment in any position
It is usually impossible to get something out of a cargo pocket while sitting in a car or special vehicle — the flap is pressed down by the thigh. In Gen 5.7, each of the two large cargo pockets on the hips has a side YKK zipper for access while sitting — with one hand movement, without changing position. The left cargo pocket is equipped with stabilizing elastic bands for fixing equipment and a carabiner. The right one has two mesh compartments. Two front and two back pockets, two with height adjustment of the knee pad, two for small items in the lower part, a knife pocket on the right side — 11 pockets with a specific purpose.

Hardware without compromise
Failure of a zipper or Velcro during the task means loss of access to equipment at a critical moment. All Gen 5.7 zippers are YKK (Japan), the standard of reliability in tactical clothing around the world. Velcro - original VELCRO®, which retains its hold after prolonged use. 2 half rings and a carabiner.

Product care
Black is particularly demanding to care for - improper washing quickly turns deep black into gray. Wash in cold or warm water up to 30°C on a delicate cycle, always turning inside out - this reduces mechanical abrasion of the front surface in the drum. Use mild detergents without bleaches and color enhancers, ideally - liquid detergents for dark fabrics. Before washing, remove the knee pads and fasten all zippers and Velcro. Do not dry at high temperatures - excessive heat can deform the elastic inserts. Do not iron at maximum temperature. Dry in the shade or at room temperature - direct sunlight accelerates the fading of the black color. If you follow these recommendations, the pants will retain their deep black color and all functional properties throughout their entire service life.
