Free Standard Shipping

We offer free standard international shipping on orders over $250.
For orders under $250, a flat shipping fee of $40 will apply.

International Shipping

Door-to-Door Delivery

Return Period

You can return any item purchased on uatac.shop within 30 calendar days of receiving it.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for return, items must:

• Be unused, unwashed, and undamaged
• Be in their original packaging
• Include manuals, receipt, and return authorization
• Be returned within 30 days of receipt
• Not be expired (for applicable products)

Only products purchased directly from the UATAC online store are eligible.
Products bought from other retailers must follow their own return policies.

We accept returns only from the country and to the shipping address where the order was originally sent.

The UATAC Gen 5.6 Black combat shirt (ubacs) is designed to be worn under a plate carrier, where a conventional shirt quickly becomes a problem. It combines a hard-wearing sleeve fabric with a soft cotton-knit torso, so the areas covered by armour stay comfortable while the exposed arms keep full abrasion protection. Insertable elbow pads are included.

Two-fabric construction — the logic of a combat shirt
Under body armour the torso overheats and sweats, while the arms are exposed to abrasion from gear, walls and the ground. A single fabric cannot serve both zones well. That is why the ubacs uses two: the sleeves are 65% cotton, 35% polyester in Ripstop weave — a reinforced grid that resists tearing and wear during demanding tasks — while the torso is a soft, breathable knit. This is the core idea of the design: protection where you need it, comfort where you don't.

Soft cotton-knit torso
The torso is 100% high-quality cotton knit — soft against the skin and breathable under the closed environment of a plate carrier. It gives the ubacs a comfortable next-to-skin feel through a long shift, without the stiffness of a woven shirt trapped under armour.

Cushioning shoulder inserts — a rare detail
The shoulders carry the full weight of a plate carrier and rucksack straps, and over a long day the pressure points start to dig in. This ubacs has soft cushioning inserts built into the shoulders — a feature few other manufacturers offer. They spread the load from straps and webbing so the harness sits comfortably instead of biting, letting you carry gear for longer without the shoulders becoming the first thing that fails.

Elbow protection that stays put
The shirt comes with insertable EVA elbow pads (included), and the outer elbow zone is reinforced with CORDURA® 500d Brookwood® USA — a global standard for abrasion resistance that withstands leaning, kneeling and crawling on hard surfaces. The pads absorb impact; the CORDURA layer takes the wear. Enlarged sleeve cuffs make the shirt easy to pull on and off over gloves and layers.

Pockets with per-pocket ventilation
Zippered pockets keep essential items secure, and every pocket has its own internal ventilation mesh. Beyond releasing trapped heat, this ventilation lets the pockets — and the items inside them — dry quickly after rain or heavy sweating, so nothing stays damp against the body. Original VELCRO® panels are provided for insignia and patches, so unit identification needs no add-ons.

Hardware without compromise
All zippers are YKK® (Japan), used as a reliability standard by leading technical apparel makers worldwide, and the hook-and-loop is original VELCRO® that keeps its grip after prolonged use in dust and dirt. In the field a failed fastener means losing access to your kit — nothing here is left to a cheaper component.

Care
Remove the elbow pads and fasten all zippers and hook-and-loop before washing. Wash in cold or warm water up to 30°C on a gentle cycle, turned inside out. Use mild detergents without aggressive components, bleach or colour enhancers. Do not dry at high temperatures or iron on a high setting. Dry in the shade or at room temperature.
