What UATAC Makes and What It Does Not

UATAC is a Ukrainian full-cycle manufacturer of tactical clothing and gear. The range covers demi-season and winter jackets, tactical trousers, combat shirts, uniform sets, fleece, hoodies, T-shirts, shirts, base layers, shorts and accessories. We do not make footwear, body armour or backpacks.

Why it matters that a maker does not make everything

A brand that simultaneously promises clothing, armour, boots and packs is almost always reselling part of that list. For the buyer it means nobody is structurally responsible for those items: a complaint gets forwarded to a supplier.

We hold the line deliberately: clothing and gear, where we control the fabric, the pattern and the hardware from the roll to the finished garment. Ballistic protection and footwear are separate engineering fields with their own testing and certification.

What full cycle means

We do not order finished garments elsewhere and put our label on them. The construction changes in response to feedback from the front: the generations of trousers from Gen 5.2 to Gen 5.7 are accumulated corrections to the pattern, the pockets and the reinforcements, not marketing names.

The practical consequence for a buyer: when a weak point shows up in a model, it gets fixed in the next iteration rather than surviving for years.

Who the clothing is for

People who wear it daily and in the field: military, rescue services, instructors, and civilians with heavy outdoor use — hunting, fishing, work outside. Separately we supply units, volunteer foundations and dealers in batches.

And the honest part: if a set is needed for a handful of outings a year, paying for this level of durability will not pay you back. Cheaper clothing covers that use, and we would rather say so than sell you more than you need.

How to navigate the catalogue

  1. Decide the layer: base, mid or outer.
  2. Pick the season: summer, shoulder season, winter.
  3. Choose one colour for the whole kit.
  4. Check the size chart of the specific model.
  5. Check what is included — trousers already come with knee pads and a belt.

What we do not make

Footwear and boots, body armour and plate carriers, backpacks. If you need a complete loadout, those items come from specialist makers — and that is normal, because each of those fields demands its own engineering.
